Arizona National Guard to host AH-64 competition

AH-64D Apache attack helicopters from Idaho, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Arizona National Guard units will gather at Silverbell Army Heliport in Marana, Arizona for the Gunfighter Fly-in competition.

President-S MAW has been successfully tested

An official from Radio-Electronic Technologies (KRET) says the President-S Missile Approach Warning (MAW) system has been successful in protecting Russian helicopters from attacks.

India may transfer four attack helicopters to Afghanistan

Indian officials told The Hindu that Afghanistan and India will discuss the transfer of four Mi-35 attack helicopters to Afghanistan when Afghan National Security Adviser Hanif Atmar visits New Delhi this weekend.

First crash of British Watchkeeper

Correction: Jane’s pointed out that this was the second crash. The first was Nov. 16, 2014 at Aberporth.

A British Army Watchkeeper UAV has crashed at MOD Boscombe Down while landing on Nov. 2. This is the first crash of the program.
