First-ever joint airborne jump for JGSDF, U.S. Army paratroopers
Soldiers from U.S. Army Alaska’s 1st Battalion (Airborne), 501st Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division and the JGSDF’s 3rd Battalion, 1st Airborne Brigade, Central Readiness Force, conducted a platoon level airborne jump during Exercise North Wind 2015 on Feb. 21.

Orbital ATK completes installation of AAR-47, ALE-47 on RoK Army AH-1S fleet
Orbital ATK has completed the installation and integration of its AAR-47 Missile and Laser Warning System with Hostile Fire Indication (HFI), Symetrics’ ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispensing System (CMDS), and Southeast Aerospace’s aircraft modification kits onto AH-1S helicopters for the Republic of Korea Army.
