Northrop Grumman selected to modernize U.S. Army’s Black Hawks
Northrop Grumman has been selected by Redstone Defense Systems to supply and integrate mission avionics equipment for a digital cockpit upgrade of the U.S. Army’s UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters.

4-6 Attack Reconnaissance Squadron inactivated
The U.S. Army’s 4-6 Attack Reconnaissance Squadron was inactivated on Aug. 14 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The unit is the first to disband as part of a five-year plan to phase out all OH-58 Kiowa helicopters in the Army.
