In-car camera captures RoC Army Aviation AH-64E crash
A RoC Army Aviation AH-64E from the 601st Air Cavalry Brigade crashed into a residential building in Taoyuan county at 10:05 Apr. 25. The aircraft, 808, was flown by Major Chen Long Qian (1247 flying hours) with co-pilot Lt. Col. Liu Ming Hui (1034 flying hours). Both men suffered no significant injuries.
U.S. clears delivery of 10 AH-64s to Egypt
The Obama administration has cleared the delivery of 10 Boeing AH-64 attack helicopters to Egypt. However, delivery of other military hardware such as F-16s remains on hold.
