Some say USS John C. Stennis should be renamed

Medal of Honor sought for pilot who shot down 4 Soviet MiGs in a single dogfight

A campaign is ongoing to have the Medal of Honor awarded to a former U.S. Navy F9F-5 Panther pilot who defended his aircraft carrier from an attack by seven Soviet MiG-15s on Nov. 18, 1952.

D-Day Doll to lead 17 other warbirds on flyover of Los Angeles during Memorial Day
