While it was the First American Volunteer Group (AVG) that made the shark mouth design famous around the world, it was the British that came up with it.

Smithsonian removes copyright restrictions from about 2.8 million of its images

On Feb. 25, Smithsonian declared that it had removed copyright restrictions from about 2.8 million of its digital collection images.
