We have received word that Chiu Sungchou, who flew the last operational U-2 mission from Taiwan on 24 May 1974, has passed away in Taipei on Sept. 11.

Tu-2 being restored for flight by Novosibirsk State Technical University
The Novosibirsk State Technical University will be restoring a Tu-2 that it bought from the
Wings of Victory Foundation. The intention is to restore it to become the only flying Tu-2 warbird.
