Former AC-130A airman describes the PAVE MACE/Black Crow system

The Black Crow was an magnetic anomaly detection system aboard the AC-130A that allows the crew to detect vehicles hidden underneath the jungle canopy by detecting their electromagnetic emissions from the engine’s ignition coil.
