Vietnam veteran Col. George “Bud” Day was posthumously advanced to the rank of brigadier general during a Heritage to Horizons summer concert series at the Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, Jun. 8.

B-17F Memphis Belle back on display

The iconic B-17F Memphis Belle bomber is back on exhibit at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. The warbird was unveiled to the public on May 17, the 75th anniversary of its last bombing mission.
