Fighter pilot that flew last combat mission of World War 2 has died
The United States Army Air Forces P=51 fighter pilot who flew the final combat mission of World War II, Jerome “Jerry” Yellin, has passed away on Dec. 21 in Florida.

USAF’s last operational KB-50J is moving to a new home
Folks over at Warbird News says the KB-50J Superfortress, #49-0389, on display at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida is being dismantled for a long road trip to the Air Mobility Command Museum in Dover, Delaware.

Legendary Soviet woman test pilot Marina Popovich has died
News reports from Russia say legendary Soviet test pilot Marina Popovich has passed away on Nov. 30. She was a former Soviet Air Force colonel and military test pilot.
