After twenty-years of restoration, the first F-8 prototype (XF8U-1) was roll out from the Museum of Flight’s Restoration Center in Everett, Washington on the 60th anniversary of its first flight.

After 15 years of effort, the second B-29 bomber to be restored to flying condition was rolled out again in Wichita on Mar. 23.

The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York, is naming its newest cadet barracks after Air Force Gen. Benjamin Oliver Davis Jr., a Tuskegee Airman who had graduated from the academy.
