Japanese government counter-suing Toshiba for failing to come up with reconnaissance F-15J
One year ago, we reported that Toshiba is seeking damages from the Japanese government for the failure to modify F-15Js into reconnaissance planes. The Defense Ministry is now counter-suing Toshiba for breach of contract.

Chairman of Shenyang Aircraft Corporation had heart attack on board Liaoning
The man in charge of overseeing the J-15 carrier-borne fighter, Shenyang Aircraft Corporation Chairman and President Luo Yang, had a heart attack on board aircraft carrier Liaoning on Nov. 25. He passed away at 12:48pm.

ITT Exelis successfully completes AIDEWS testing at Edwards Air Force Base
ITT Exelis has completed testing of its Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite, or AIDEWS, at Edwards Air Force Base. The testing, part of the qualification process for the Pakistan F-16 upgrade program, was conducted to ensure AIDEWS will work with other systems integrated into the aircraft, and verify that the multiple systems will not interfere with one another.
