This month, a selection committee will be formed to evaluate proposals from two frontrunners: the Saab Gripen E/F and the Lockheed Martin F-16. BAE Systems awarded $95 million contract to equip P-8A with advanced countermeasure pods

BAE Systems has secured a $95 million contract from the U.S. Navy to develop and produce electronic warfare (EW) pods for the P-8A Poseidon Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft. These pods will provide critical defensive capabilities for the Poseidon, enhancing its survivability in contested environments.

Boeing buys GKN factory in Hazelwood

Boeing averted a potential crisis in its fighter jet production by acquiring the critical GKN Aerospace facility in Hazelwood, Missouri. This deal safeguards not only the continued manufacture of F-15 and F/A-18 fighter jets but also the jobs of approximately 550 skilled workers.
