Qatar has elected to buy the Raytheon National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) under a $2.2 billion deal and the air defense missile system will be armed with the new AMRAAM-ER missile.
Portugal has ordered the KC-390 after much deliberations and Embraer says delivery of five aircraft will commence in 2023.
Raytheon has edged out Northrop Grumman to supply a AESA radar for the B-52H bomber. The company will offer its solution based on the APG-79/APG-82 radar family.
