The Pentagon has disclosed that Sweden will be buying the GBU-39/B Small Diameter Bomb Increment I in a $65 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Boeing on Apr. 15.
Svenska Dagbladet newspaper said the Swedish government paid for 14 Gripen C/D airframes that are unused in order to ensure that the production line at Saab can transition to the Gripen E.
