Turkey needs to find a new engine for Pakistan’s T129 order

Pakistan’s bid to buy the T129 attack helicopter from Turkey has run into a roadblock after the U.S. government refused to grant an export license for the rotorcraft’s LHTEC T800 turboshaft engine.

Sierra Nevada Corp. given contract to supply 12 A-29s to Nigeria

The U.S. government has given Sierra Nevada Corp. a $329 million contract to supply 12 A-29 aircraft for the Nigerian Air Force.

The 81st Fighter Squadron received the aircraft to help continue the Afghan light air support training mission, which ultimately provides Afghan pilots with the capabilities of finding, tracking and attacking targets either on their own or in support of ground forces. Kamov to create high-speed helicopter using Ka-52

CEO of Zhukovsky Central Aero-Hydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI) Kirill Sypalo told TASS that Kamov’s chief designer Sergei Mikheyev will soon start work on building a high-speed helicopter that is based on the Ka-52.
