The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) hosted a SALT (Surface-to-Air Launch Trial) and during the demonstration, a Leonardo-Thales system successfully defeated a Infra-Red (IR) missile.
Lockheed Martin will be transitioning the the AN/TPQ-53 to Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology during the full-rate production phase.
