The U.S. State Department has granted Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. with an export license for the latter’s Mako High Performance Jet Tactical Unmanned Aerial System to certain European and Asia Pacific region countries.
Taiwan’s Minster of National Defense Yen Teh-fa told lawmakers on Mar. 15 that the island still hopes to buy the F-35B to defend itself from mainland China.
According to Jane’s, Japan is paying an extra $33 million to assemble a F-35A at the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) facility in Nagoya.
