Argentina signs contract to buy six Bell 407GXi helicopters

Bell Textron Canada Ltd., a subsidiary of Textron Inc., has confirmed the procurement of six Bell 407GXi helicopters by the Ministry of Defence of Argentina. The purchase agreement, signed with the Canadian Commercial Corporation, strengthens Argentina’s search and rescue capabilities.

The first B-52H to get an AESA radar

In a significant step towards modernizing the B-52 fleet, a B-52 bomber from the 307th Bomb Wing has arrived at a Boeing facility in San Antonio to commence the installation of the Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar system. This milestone marks the beginning of a crucial phase in the Air Force’s B-52 Radar Modernization Program.

PhantomStrike radar approved for export on the KAI FA-50

Japan is trying to get rid of 200 P&W F100 turbofan engines

During an earnings briefing on May 9, Hiroshi Ide, President of IHI Corporation, told reporters that approximately 200 Pratt & Whitney F100 turbofan engines mounted on the Mitsubishi F-15J fighter will have to be disposed of when they are retired.
