Vixen 500E chosen for IAR-99 TD
Romania has decided to equip its IAR-99 TD jet with Leonardo’s Vixen 500E AESA radar. National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” (INCAS) will integrate the radar on a Romanian Air Force IAR-99 Soim (prototype no. 7003).
HAL kicks off production of Light Combat Helicopter
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has started the production of its Light Combat Helicopter (LCH). Minister of Defense Arun Jaitley officiated the production launch ceremony on Aug. 26.
