Raytheon given $85 million contract to deliver Griffin A and B Block II/III missiles

The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida has given Raytheon a $85.5 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Griffin A and B Block II/III missiles.

Russian Navy will receive two more Il-38Ns this year

Germany will lease not buy Heron TP

Germany’s Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen has confirmed that Bundeswehr will soon be operating the Heron TP. However, instead of buying the UAVs, Berlin has chose to lease them to protect German troops in deployments overseas.

RMAF to take delivery of last two A400Ms in April and November

Malaysia will get its third and fourth A400Ms this year, it was revealed during a ceremony to induct the second A400M on Jan. 13 at Subang airbase. The aircraft will arrive home in April and November.

Huntington Ingalls Industries in discussions to put missile defense radars, lasers on San Antonio-class LPDs

At the Surface Navy Association symposium in Arlington, Virginia, an official from Huntington Ingalls Industries told reporters that his company is in discussions with government officials on the possibility of fitting the San Antonio-class LPD with missile defense radars and laser weapons.
