Japan cleared to buy E-2D

The U.S. State Department has cleared the sale of four E-2D early warning aircraft to Japan. The estimated cost of the entire sales package is around $1.7 billion.

Readout from crashed A400M’s black boxes point to assembly QA issue

Airbus group’s chief of strategy Marwan Lahoud told the German daily Handelsblatt that readout from the black boxes of the A400M that crashed suggest issues with quality control during the assembly process.
