Australia to get one MRH90 for free

Eurocopter has decided to give a MRH90 helicopter to Australia for free after falling three years behind schedule in the program to deliver 46 aircraft.

Lockheed Martin’s transportable, ground-based Area Defense Anti-Munitions (ADAM) prototype laser system has destroyed eight small-caliber rocket targets in flight at a range of approximately 1.5 kilometers (0.9 miles) in tests conducted in March and April 2013.

Seoul’s FX-III hits snag

South Korea plans to select a winner for the FX-III fighter competition by the end of June, however this in increasingly unlikely due to an investigation into a local arms brokerage firm on suspicion of leaking classified military information on the contest.
