Boeing 767-2C makes first flight

Boeing has moved another step towards delivering a new aerial refueling tanker to the U.S. Air Force. Engineering, Manufacturing and Development (EMD) aircraft #1, a provisioned 767-2C freighter, flew its first flight on Dec. 28.

Boeing has tight schedule to deliver KC-46A

Lt. Gen. Ellen M. Pawlikowski, the U.S. Air Force’s top acquisition official, told reporters that she expects Boeing to meet its deadline to deliver 18 new KC-46As in August 2017.

The USAF team selected to test KC-46A

Military Times spoke to airmen and civilians of 418th Flight Test Squadron Detachment 1 who are the pioneers that will test and field the KC-46A.

Boeing to revise schedule for KC-46
