The U.S. Air Force announced that Altus AFB, Fairchild AFB, Wash., Grand Forks AFB, N.D., and McConnell AFB, are candidate bases for the first active-duty led KC-46A main operating base.

Boeing starts production of KC-46 refueling boom

Boeing has started assembling the first refueling boom for the KC-46 at the Boom Assembly Center that opened yesterday at Boeing Field in Seattle.
