Japan shelves plan to have MV-22 training at Saga
Japan has decided not to use Saga as a training area for U.S. Marine Corp MV-22s. According to new reports, the move has failed to garner support from the local population and the U.S. military is not receptive to the idea as well.

Maintenance error, wrong decision by crew lead to fatal UH-1Y crash
On Jan. 23, a UH-1Y crashed near Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, killing both crew members on board. An investigation into the accident found that the fatal accident could be avoided.
