The last legacy H-1 helicopter to undergo periodic maintenance at Fleet Readiness Center West Pacific (FRCWP) in Japan has been redelivered to HMLA-269 on Jul. 1.

A CH-53 from HMH-465 carried out a rare tactical refueling exercise with M1A1 Abrams tanks from Company A, 1st Tank Battalion on Jul. 16.

VMFA-121 will only bring 10 F-35Bs to Iwakuni in 2017

Lt. Gen. Jon Davis, the USMC’s Deputy Commandant for Aviation, revealed that only F-35Bs with VMFA-121 will be deployed to MCAS Iwakuni, Japan in 2017.
