Approximately 61 aircraft from the U.S Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps had to reposition to bases in South Korea, mainland Japan and the Philippines when Typhoon Neoguri hit Kadena Air Force Base in Japan.

NAVAIR could still clear USMC F-35Bs for U.K. trip
A spokeswoman for the F-35 joint program office told Defense News that it is possible for U.S. Navy to clear the F-35Bs that belonged to the U.S. Marine Corps for the trans-Atlantic flight to Britain.
