F-35B completes first airborne engine start tests

BF-2 has completed the first airborne restart of the F135 engine on Aug. 15. Verifying the restart capability of the engine is a prerequisite for high angle-of-attack testing.

USMC F/A-18 crashed

DOT&E won’t approve F-35 Test and Evaluation Master Plan

Director of Operational Test & Evaluation, Dr. J. Michael Gilmore, wrote in a memo to Pentagon officials that he will not approve the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) for the F-35 unless changes are made.
