The U.S. Marine Corps plans to fly the MV-22 from Okinawa to six different training routes. Two will take place over the Tohoku region while the other four are over Shinetsu, Shikoku, Kyushu and the Amami island chain.

First asymmetric weapons load test for F-35B
F-35B, BF-2, completed the first asymmetric weapons load test flight on Jun. 14 with an AIM-9X Sidewinder inert missile on the starboard pylon, a centerline 25 mm gun pod, and a GBU-32 and AIM-120 in the starboard weapon bay.

Pentagon: No change V-22 deployment to Japan
