First aviation delivered ground refueling of F-35B at MCAS Iwakuni

VMGR-152 conducted aviation delivered ground refueling with VMFA-121 at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Apr. 11.

The ADGR marked the first evolution of this form of refueling for VMFA-121’s F-35B Lightning II aircraft, and it increases the squadron’s ability to refuel by C-130 aircraft in austere locations when other resources may not be available. First Japanese MV-22 crew chief

Sgt. 1st Class Midsru Miyazaki is currently undergoing training with VMMT-204 at MCAS New River and he is on course to become the first person from Japan to be a MV-22 crew chief.
