British Prime Minister David Cameron said Wednesday that he is disappointed over India’s decision to select the Rafale and will try and persuade the Indian government to rethink its position.

In case you are still not aware, Dassault’s Rafale has been selected as the winner of India’s MMRCA competition. The company still has to finalize the contract with the Indian government.

Wall Street Journal reported that BAE Systems had approached EADS just before Christmas to become a joint prime bidder for the Indian MMRCA contest.
