F-35Bs joined CVW 11 for expeditionary strike force operations in South China Sea

For the first time in South China Sea, F-35Bs from the 31st MEU conducted expeditionary strike force operations with Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11.

DoD is using the AC-130W to tackle seaborne threats in the Gulf

The U.S. Navy conducted a first of its kind joint exercise with a AC-130W in the Arabian Gulf recently.

Monsoon is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
