Missile attack on UAE vessel off Yemen
Saudi Arabia has confirmed that a missile attack occurred off the coast of Yemen on Jun. 14. An unidentified ship from the UAE was hit and a crew member injured.
USN intends to buy at least 80 Super Hornets
The U.S. Navy has told the Senate Armed Services seapower subcommittee that the service needs at least 80 new Boeing Super Hornet fighters to “address continuing warfighter demand for advanced tactical aircraft.”

Germany withdraws P-3C detachment in Djibouti
A German P-3C detachment in Djibouti has ended its deployment there. The aircraft along with 85 personnel are part of Germany’s contribution to the EU NAVFOR mission there.
