USN T-45 flight instructors go on strike, planes grounded

The U.S. Navy was forced to ground its T-45 advanced jet trainer fleet after more than 100 instructional pilots refused to fly the aircraft, citing issues with the jet’s oxygen system.

LRASM successful jettison from Super Hornet

The Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) was successfully jettisoned from a Boeing Super Hornet recently, Lockheed Martin said in a press release.

India orders more Dhruvs

The Indian government has placed an order for 32 Dhruv helicopters with Hindustan Aeronautics and 16 of these will go to the Navy while the rest for the coast guard.

Chinese fighter manufacturer Shenyang has been ordered by the People’s Liberation Army to quickly complete the development of its tandem-seat J-15S carrier-borne fighter in order to have President Xi Jinping trap on board carrier Liaoning.
