C-17 makes history with Aviation Delivered Ground Refueling of B-2 bomber

A U.S. Air Force C-17 has provided Aviation Delivered Ground Refueling (ADGR) to a B-2 bomber for the first time during WSINT 22B.

Airmen assigned to the 437th Airlift Wing, stationed at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, and 509th Bomb Wing, stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, conduct a specialized fuel operations (SFO) from a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III to a U.S. Air Force B-2 Spirit at Edwards Air Force Base, Dec. 2, 2022. In future, USN USVs will be able to deploy tethered drones with perpetual endurance

AARGM-ER engages moving maritime target on 4th flight test

On Nov. 30, Northrop Grumman successfully completed the fourth flight test of its AGM-88G Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile Extended Range (AARGM-ER) at the Point Mugu Sea Range off the coast of southern California. The U.S. Navy launched the missile from an F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft, successfully hitting a moving maritime target that was representative of operational conditions.
