Pentagon orders CSG 5 to remain in the vicinity of Taiwan; ICBM test postponed; conduct Taiwan Strait transits in the next few weeks

The Pentagon has ordered Carrier Strike Group 5 to remain in the vicinity off the east coast of Taiwan to monitor the developing situation.

Taiwan deploys warships for air defense cover during Pelosi’s visit

According to a report from Taiwan’s Up Media, the Navy has deployed its Kidd-class destroyers and Perry-class frigates to the island’s northeast corner as the country prepare for the arrival of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her delegation.
