The People’s Liberation Army Naval Air Force’s J-10AH fighters have been shown capable of employing the LS500J 500kg laser guided bomb. The precision guided weapon is employed together with the K/JDC01 targeting pod mounted below the right intake.
A U.S. Navy Super Hornet has successfully employed two inert Dual Mode Plus laser guided bombs (LGB) during testing at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in China Lake, California.
