Fighters from USS John C. Stennis approached RoCAF C-130 over South China Sea

A Republic of China Air Force C-130 carrying a group of 20 former senior government officials to Taiping Island in the Spratly archipelago was approached by two U.S. Navy fighters from USS John C. Stennis over the South China Sea on May 5.

CNO Richardson said Russian warplanes should stop buzzing American warships

The head of the U.S. Navy, Adm. John M. Richardson, hopes Russian warplanes should stop buzzing American warships as this increase the chance of a “tactical miscalculation.”
