A U.S. Navy delegation, comprising of 27 people, had the opportunity to tour Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning on Oct. 19.

BAE Systems, together with ASV, are creating an unmanned surface vessel to be deployed from the Queen Elizabeth-class carriers. The modified rigid inflatable boats will undertake high-risk missions at up to 40km away.

Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe plans to go on board aircraft carrier USS Ronald Regan today at Yokosuka. If so, he will be the first serving Prime Minister to board a U.S. aircraft carrier.
