VFA-27 receives 2014 NAVAIRPAC Battle “E” Award

Lawmaker proposed building toll bridge using old aircraft carriers

A Washington state lawmaker has proposed laying at least two retired aircraft carriers end-to-end as a toll bridge to ease traffic congestion in Puget Sound.

Indonesia, U.S. Navies carried out joint maritime air patrol over South China Seas

A U.S. Navy P-3C joined a CN-235 MPA, a Casa NC-212 MPA and a BO-105 from Indonesia for a joint maritime air patrol around Natuna on Apr. 9.

U.S. Air Force to bring AIM-120D overseas, Navy to deploy this year

The U.S. Air Force is ready to deploy the AIM-120D overseas while the Navy will make the weapon available to its fighter fleet later this year.

USS American heading back to shipyard for 40-weeks of F-35-specific modifications

USS America (LHA-6) will have to go back to the shipyard starting next month and spend 40 weeks there to get F-35-specific modifications.
