Fire Scout, JPALS face Nunn-McCurdy breach

The MQ-8 and Joint Precision Approach and Landing System (JPALS) programs have triggered the Nunn–McCurdy act and will require reviews to keep the programs alive.

U.S. Navy set to pick Marine One replacement next month

The U.S. Navy is expected to pick the successor for VH-3D next month and the Sikorsky S-92 is to be the next Marine One as there is only one bid submitted.

F-35 to make first international airshow appearance

The British Ministry of Defence has confirmed that the Lockheed Martin F-35B will be flying at the Royal International Air Tattoo and Farnborough airshow in July.

YouTube: JH-7 mock attack on Liaoning?

A news report on China’s CCTV recently showed a group of JH-7 fighter bombers carrying out a naval strike training exercise. Halfway thru the video, an infrared capture of what seems to be aircraft carrier Liaoning was shown.
