USS Fort Worth launch first MQ-8 Fire Scout
USS Fort Worth is the first littoral combat ship (LCS) to launch a UAV. The ship launch and recovered a MQ-8 Fire Scout over a period from Nov. 5-13.

Eight E-2Cs on board USS George Washington supporting HADR in Philippines
VAW-117 was suppose to swap four E-2Cs with VAW-115 on board USS George Washington, however the carrier was diverted to the Philippines and now both squadrons are assisting the carrier in its humanitarian assistance and disaster relief mission.
