CAG 17 relieved of duty
Capt. Jeffrey Winter, commander of Carrier Air Wing 17, was relieved of duty by Rear Adm. David Steindl, commander of Carl Vinson CSG, following allegations of an “inappropriate relationship” with a female junior officer under his command.

Taiwan to test SM-2 and Hsiung Feng III this week

First Hawk for Indian Navy delivered

MH-60S crashed in Red Sea
A U.S. Navy MH-60S crashed in the Red Sea Sept. 22 and three on board were rescued. The HSC-6 helicopter was operating with the guided-missile destroyer USS William P. Lawrence.
