Indian Navy Chetak crashed, two missing

An Indian Navy Chetak helicopter with four crew members on board crashed on Tuesday. Two were rescued and the rest are missing.

DARPA wants Predator-class UAV on LCS

DARPA has started a Tactically Exploited Reconnaissance Node (TERN) program to get the industry to come up with a Predator-class medium-altitude, long-endurance UAV that can fly and recover back from small ships such as the Littoral Combat Ship.

Grounding of F-35 lifted

The Pentagon has allowed flights for the F-35 to resume. An email by the F-35 program office said a crack found last week was due to “prolonged exposure to high levels of heat and other operational stresses” in testing.
