JMSDF to conduct joint training with British Carrier Strike Group in Gulf of Aden

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force will conduct joint training with the British Carrier Strike Group in the Gulf of Aden, Kyodo News reports.

ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 23, 2019) Royal navy aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08) transits the Atlantic Ocean, Sept. 23. The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. NGJ-MB enters LRIP

The Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) will enter Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) after obtaining Milestone C approval on Jun. 28.

An EA-18G Growler from Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23, located at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, conducts a Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) flight test over Southern Maryland recently. VX-23 supports the overall NGJ-MB Test and Evaluation program that has seen more than 145 hours of flight test.
