Tester 15 is USNTPS new show bird

The United States Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) has a new show bird. Tester 15, a T-38 that entered service in 1969 was recently given a new paint scheme.

Japan will start modernization of JS Kaga from end of the year

The Yomiuri reports that Japan will send JS Kaga back to the dock for modernization works to prepare the warship to operate the F-35B.

LIG Nex1 in the lead for CIWS-II program

South Korean defense firm LIG Nex1 says its proposed solution for the South Korean navy CIWS-II program has scored the highest marks in the evluation by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA).

Watch the Su-30SM demo flown by father and son

A pair of Su-30SM flying at the MAKS 2021 airshow was actually flown by a father and son team. Vyacheslav and Evgeniy Averyanov. Vyacheslav is the chief test pilot at Irkut. His son Evgeniy is his wingman for the demo.
