X-47B to test mid-air refueling

The X-47B will test its ability to refuel in the air within the next few weeks. The U.S. Navy told Military.com that testing will take place at NAS Patuxent River.

DARPA wants a “mission truck” to carry weapons, UAVs for the F-35

DARPA has launched its System of Systems (SoS) Integration Technology and Experimentation (SoSITE) program that uses a converted cargo plane to carry the weapons and sensors for the F-35.

India to buy 2 A330s and transform them into AEW&C platforms

India’s Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) has approved the purchase of two Airbus A330s and convert them into early warning aircraft.

EMALS cannot launch jets carrying fuel tanks
