Robots might one day refuel U.S. Army helicopters at forward area

Soldiers manning the fuel pumps at forward refueling points are at risk from enemy targeting and the U.S. Army is testing out a new technology so that it can remove them from harm’s way.

Russia considering STOVL fighter

Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister Yury Borisov said on Jul. 17 that his ministry is in talks with the Russian aerospace industry on “the development of an aircraft with a short take-off and landing, possibly with a vertical take-off and landing.”

SAR satellites from Silicon Valley could detect North Korean missile launches
