At Heli-Expo 2016, owner of MD Helicopters, Lynn Tilton, said the company is working on a clean-sheet light attack helicopter dubbed 6XX.

U.S. Army to have its own laser weapon systems by 2023

At a House Armed Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities session on Feb. 24, the U.S. Army told lawmakers that the service will have laser weapons by fiscal 2023.

USAF likely to have prototype hypersonic missiles by 2020

According to the head of U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Maj. Gen. Thomas Masiello, the service will likely have prototype hypersonic missiles by 2020 that can eventually be deployed for operations.
