Russia to develop new air-launched high-speed UAV based on Tu-143
Russia will start research into a high-speed unmanned aerial vehicle that is launched from an aircraft. To start off, researchers will use the Tupolev Tu-143 unmanned reconnaissance aircraft from the 1970s as the basis.

A team from Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division successfully took control of an airborne electronic warfare (EW) pod mounted on a AV-8B from a ship using Link 16 during Talisman Sabre 2015 in Australia.

RAND: China could shut down Kadena AFB for 16-43 days with missile attacks
A RAND report found that by 2017, China would have amassed enough missiles to prevent U.S. fighters operating out of Kadena Air Force Base, Japan from helping Taiwan for 16 to 43 days during an attack.
